It's the year end holidays again and we are going to have another fabutastic magic chalet/camp with non stop magicking. And this time, it's gonna be bigger and better! B)

Uncle Bob will be tipping all the moves in his routine. In other words, you get to learn how he does them all. Come prepared with notebooks and your own props if you want to learn alongside his lecturing.

Cups and Balls:
Though the Cups and Balls have been less visible as of late with today's magicians, it remains the staple act of most professionals. In fact, Dai Vernon once said that a true Magician must be able to perform the Linking Rings AND the Cups and Balls. Both of which test him on different skillsets - showmanship and misdirection at their purest.
Uncle Bob's put together a very strong Cups and Balls routine. I remember watching him perform his Cups and balls a year ago at the Kovan Coconut Grove - that was when Aloy was punishing everyone with his repeated performances of his C&Bs. Bob blew everyone away with his natural showmanship and his in-born misdirection. This is a person who's truly born to perform!

Enrico knows more about obscure moves than the average magician. He has very kindly agreed to share some of his novel ideas on routine construction - something that many of us use!
This is going to be a very open sharing session, you are encouraged to bring your own ideas and questions - the session might run in any direction that the attendees might fancy.

One handed Bottom Palm of 1 card/multiple cards
Imagine being able to bottom palm cards off a deck with ONE HAND? :) Stop imagining - you can learn to do it NOW.

This truly innovative method of reversing cards / group of cards in the CENTRE of the deck is remarkable. You have to see it to believe it. Enrico will share some of his ideas of its application.

Is that the 'zenter flippant' move by Zenneth Kok? The 4 cards are supposed to change right?
I always thought it was a nice concept but personally I fumble the get-ready quite a bit. (Fingers everywhere.. for those who know the move you will understand what I mean). I wonder how Enrico handles it.
I use the 'normal' flippant move a lot as well. Can't wait to see Enrico's take on it.

I won't spoil anything for you guys by tipping too much here. What you saw in the vid's just a tiny sample of what he intends to share. He has quite a lot of ideas and applications on some of his more esoteric moves.
In fact, his one handed Bottom palm is worth the price of the entire chalet alone! :) I just can't wait to get it into action. LOL

Last few days to register for the Chalet. For those of you who are hesitating for one reason or another... here's a few more reasons to go.
1) This is the best way to really take your magic to another level. Enrico and Bob will be sharing some of the most commercially powerful effects around. And you get to pick their brains for almost FREE!
2) Enrico will be performing another killer - an exclusive impromptu 1 card linking effect! This is an unpublished and effect and he has kindly agreed to show this beautiful piece of magic!
3) I know some of you feel that $30 for this is a tad expensive (SHAME ON YOU). Just so you know, SMC is paying about $700 for the CHALET ALONE! If you think about it, after deducting the collections for the food and lectures, SMC will STILL be incurring a LOSS!
I think at this point, I do need to rant a little - I personally feel that $30 for all this material is really a steal. If it were up to me, I'd have priced it at $50. AND EVEN THEN IT'S CHEAP!
It's not like Enrico and Uncle Bob are so rich and free that they can simply drop by and share their precious secrets and prized effects with us for NEXT TO NOTHING! They are sharing their effects purely out of the generousity of their hearts and a desire to see the magic scene in Singapore GROW. You can't measure THAT value.
If you've ever sat down in a 1 on 1 session with any of them you'll see that I'm right - and I would be willing to pay $300 just to have some private time with them!
PHEW - ok rant over. But anyway, I am amazed that so many of us are willing to pay US$30 for ONE effect but can complain that $30 for this is expensive.
4) Anyway for those guys staying with us for all 2 nights, I will be sharing some of the finer points of the CURRY TURN OVER move - this is a beautiful and really powerful card switch that you can use for many, many applications in card magic. It's not an easy move - nothing worthwhile should ever be easy; but you will discover the versatility and power of this card switch once you learn it. Volumes of material have been released using this move but you won't find much of this on DVDs!
