Title: About Hand Size In Flourishing

htchang1987 - November 10, 2007 09:44 AM (GMT)
I know most of you will say that hand size is not a problem in flourishing. However, when I tried out the Charlier double cut taught in XB, I found that with a "not so big size" palm, I really not able to do that. I am a complete beginner in card flourishing and I really want to start to learn things. Any suggestion for this problem?

Thank you very much.

If you continue practising, you will find ways to adjust the grips in such a way that you will be able to execute the move. Play around with the move by yourself and learn what your hand can do, and what your hand can't.

Beginners often find themselves unable to do a certain move, and I believe that's because you hand isn't accustomed to the dexterity needed. Continue trying, you'll get it.

Keep trying.
Use your head. :P

Try another 1 or 2 week b4 coming back.

Hey! I totally understand what you're going through. I myself have that problem too of the 'not so big hands', only 16cm in length. Just work at it. Haha.. Although i must admit that the double charlier is something i can't do.
Maybe hold the deck a lil' higher than normal, so you can get more room.
But hey, i got down revolution cut for both hands.
