No, I don't mean pickpocketing, I mean putpocketing, which is stuff like sneaking cards in other people's pockets, bottles, and other miscellaneous hidden places, which is what dimsumdemon was describing. I've been doing putpocketing/pickpocketing longer than I've been doing magic, because it's something I've always liked playing around with for fun, and that's exactly the basis of pickpocketing: it CAN'T be studied like magic. It's something you need to play around with on the offbeat and develop your own style and technique. That's the best advice I can give on practicing that.
