hi my name is tom, 22yrs.
juz pick up magic in late March 2004.
started out as a useful skills for my volunteering duties (cuz i handle with kids most of the time) till recently being approved (after much persuasion n demonstration) to be used for my NYAA skills section.

been learning through books, frens, pdf (manage to find on the internet for free), dvds (from magic castle) all these while.

had the opportunity to do 2 mini performances(its considered as parlour i think cuz juz a small platform wif 20 odds ppl?). 1 was for the volunteer nite thing for my volunteering organisation n the other was juz a x'mas party for my cca in sch. n thru this

hope to learn more from all u professionals out there!!

i do mostly simple n basic card tricks. dun know flourishes yet.

coins i only practise on the few basic palm n sleights (haven't finish reading Jean.B Bobo Modern Coin magic yet..still reading on it..)

n do some other tat requires props like D-lite, pen-thru dollar, scotch n soda etc.

hope to explore and know alot more thru interactions wif more professionals like u all (",)

i'm now in NYP doin diagnostic radiography. :)

performing for the kids or even volunteers was my way of gaining more experience in performing.

hope to be involved in future charity performances or such organise here.

btw how many magic shops r there in s'pore currently?

the only shops that i know r Magic Castle (i'm a member there), Peninsula Plaza (Richard Ang) and if i'm not wrong at Novena (not sure if the shop name is Magic Wand). cuz from the forum, its seems there are many other shops around as well..i sure would like drop by these shops to take a look someday..
