As usual, in the holidays, I was bored beyond recognition. So i tried blind-folded flourishing to kill time. Quite a fresh experience and challenging to the maximum! I did some cuts, displays, fans, heaven display (this is duper hard now when you can't see it...), and some filpbacks...

Any similar experiences? ^_^

hehe i dont have to blind fold myself... i practice untill i fall asleep... but my hands still moving.. sybils.. and some simple cuts ok la.. i dunno why.. but i always flourish until i sleep (due to long hours practice)... and then later find out eh.... gosh... late already.. pick up my cards off my bed and then zzzzzzzzzzz like a pig..... :P

haha, this happens to me also a couple of times... It's weird... Half the brain sleeping, half stilling awake and controlling my hands....

This is how we practice, my deary. Another way is to just turn off all the lights. With one of yer senses gone, the others shall shine ;)

umm i just tried doing to .... yeah ... i mean ... its not that diffcult.... as in it is almost the same as doing normal flourishes almost the same....

haha this is damn funny. blindfolded flourishes are dumb to a certain extent. i mean cmon, check out Clarence Oh's Literally Blind Rotational Sybil. Thats like, the most retarded video i have seen. No point doing smth which is SOOO EASYY, like the BRS or flipbacks or some cuts. wanna do blindfolded flourishes? Go try doing aerials man..hot shots. aerial cuts. 360 railslide flip. and other weird stuff like shitting blindfolded or smth. B) B) B) B) B) B) B) B) B) B) B)

Better yet, do the Jackson 5 on a bicycle. Locomotive flourishes are the BEST... scarier than blindfolded moves ANYTIME. Imagine doing King Cobra while skating backwards... totally awesome, right? Seen Bone do it, and it's pure poetry in motion. Fun stuffs ;D

Actually after some time, you'll be accustomed flourishing while blind-folded, there's sort of a momentum there already. So air-borne moves won't be that hard after that.

i prefer with eyes open lor... i mean how often u see flourish vids capturing the head of the flourisher? almost nil man. u only see their hands.... thus... just do them with eyes open la... the moves are better and nicer.
