SMC invites YOU to join us in welcoming the Year of the Rat!! Yes, we will be organising the first gathering for 2008 and we would all definitely enjoy to see you there.

Venue Details:

EVERYBODY IS INVITED!!

Date: 23rd Feburary, Saturday

Venue: Delifrance @ Toa Payoh Public Library

Time: 2:30pm till LATE.

We like to stress that magic perfomances would definitely not be necessary, but just a simple drink would be greatly appreciated. Delifrance afterall is a restaurant, and it is not very nice if we use their premises and not get anything.

Also, if you still have left-over goodies from your Chinese New Year Celebrations, you are most welcome to bring them along.

i am interested in this gathering but how do i identify the people?

u know like there are so many people in delifrance at toa payoh library. i wun know who is from SMC who are not from SMC.

Yup, gatherings like these are for EVERYONE!! Even if you do not have an SMC account, and you want to obtain one, just take that first step, and come down to join us.

As for how to identify us, I will definitely second what Efendi says!

Hi Everyone,

No need to feel shy about coming down to meet all your fellow conjuerers. We're all friendly people and Toa Payoh Delifance has been more than supportive in allowing us to have our gatherings there all the time. It’s a quiet cosy place to chill and session.

Oh yes... Besides looking out for cards, you can also listen up for coins, that is Half-Dollars clinging and clanging due to gravity or maybe defiance of gravity. So do put your name down and join us there... ^_^

I think bringing outside food is ok. But we might not be able to consume them in Delifrance. So the question is why bring them all in the first place. But it is all in the spirit of Chinese New Year!

Oh that time ... i was kind " forced " to to there cause i told adeline i would return the extra copy of royal road to card magic i recieved to her. Yea so i went in , and many unfriendly looking people welcomed me very friendly-ly. Yea but i didn't stay for long because i had somewhere else to go so i only made my SMC account , some of them entertained me a little and off i went. Haha.
