Hi All,

Just want to discuss or maybe members can also vote. I've been thinking, as long as the "Pay It Forward" section is still active, there will be outsider always posting for free or charity gigs.

Many concerns have rise for the fact that many of us spend time/efforts/money to learn magic but seem like many layman out there are cheapening magicians.

I am not against free or charity gigs but lets just keep that in small close door events, however for big outdoors events I feel it is too much to get any performer for free or only offer tokens of appreciation.

My point is we should educate anyone who intend to engage performer to understand they are paying for the service and not providing us a "training opportunity".

So here's the question: "Should Pay It Forward be close?"

We should have a gathering to brainstorm how to deal with charity issue and educate our members to help bring the message across to any layman who are interested in engaging performers. I won't mind sharing my ideas to members who are interested in helping the rest of the magicians.
