Title: Mas Selamat Escape From Prison
Description: can you believe the government's story?

I was shock to read about Mas Selamat escape from the detention centre. I mean, this is a special detention centre for Internal Security Detainees, not a normal prison and the government is telling us that a prisoner escaped using an excuse of going to the toilet?
Don't you guys think that it is a little hard to believe? Not the full truth perhaps? Even if he escapes from the toilet, what about the walls and fences? Doesn't seem to be as simple as a "visit to the toilet escape".
What do you guys think? It'll be interesting to see how the story unfolds over the next few days.
Mas Selamat did a David Copperfield - walk through the Great wall of Whitley.

He used misdirection. :P
Seriously I find it hard to believe that he was able to escape from the detention centre.
I think he migt be smart enough to find some loopholes in the sercurity system.
Or it might really be just the old "visit to the toilet escape" that we always see on those drama series. -_-

There should be walls around the prison right? Can't be after the toilet, outside already.

Let us just take a look at what happened
1) A crippled, short stumpy guy escapes from 'tight security'
2) COLORED print-outs of him are distributed/pasted all over the country
3) Security checks increases and there is an extensive delay for people coming in/out of the country
Such is the efficiency of a place we call home. Do you even trust those amazing advertisements of F15s in the sky and 'garang' soldiers running through rough terrains?
=)

Being able to mobilize so many police in a short notice, tighten border security and distribute photos and sms everywhere in 24 hours is very very efficient.
Let's hope they catch him soon.

At least Singapore police force did not use the "help" of any Bomohs( witch or wizards)
like what happened in Malaysia when a girl Sharinie was found missing, around 1000~ or 10000 bomohs were engaged to locate the girl. :P
What about this? Art of mentalism??

Heard that he was good in his disguise! Saw it on newpaper that he can disguise into many identity.
Mas Selamat escape during the time where there is a scheduled visit. Well, up to now there isn`t any news about him. Let's hope that there will be no trouble in Singapore.

No grilles on window; Careless Guards and Poorly-Designed Permeter Fencing. He done it with 11 mins just a joke or fact??.
i wonder???

Maybe he was a magician turned terrorist? Hanging an extra pair of long pants over the toilet door was good misdirection. The guard thought he was still inside.

When I first known, I was also shocked to know it.
Well, Most likely he took more than the time they anticipated his escape. But to escape from that special detention center, it will be a hell lots of effort and planning. To believe you can walk away into the forest or whatever place without the spotting of surveillance camera, its quite a miracle.
Second that we can note here is the number of days he was out loose, I will say he has been out for too long that he can plan for a boat escape or a train escape to other country by now. If he can make it out of the detention, I don't see he got a problem to get out of singapore.
Now and again, he left his pants in the toilet, so he is out almost half naked, or maybe with a undergarment? So how come he can get loose to the outside world without people noticing him?
I seriously find alot of questions yet to be answered by the police but just that many people doesn't question the police. We keep believing that nothing will happen. Oh well.
