I'm a 39 year-old writer who is very interested in coin magic. I am a total novice, having purchased my first gimmick a couple of weeks ago. Not too interested in other forms, to tell the truth. Card magic is really nice to watch, but I like the spontaneous possibilities of coins. Trying to practice sleights and palming and whatnot now, with the hopes that I can entertain my daughter and her cousins -- and maybe even be a cool grandpa one day.
