Description: Eating Hamburger/Apples from poster

I'm sure many of you have seen Cyril Takayama taking hamburgers and apples from posters, biting them and placing them back half eaten.

Are these effects available commercially? If so, What is it called?

Hmm, was looking for that but could not find them either. I think its his signature effect. Only he knows how to perform it.

There is a book published in Japan early this year, revealing famous magic of Cyril,Dr.Leon,Peter Marvey Criss Angle,Fuji Akira.. etc. but no idea where to get it?

I ever saw the hamburger trick commercially available online, but forgot where is it liao? Because that time I still not really interested in magic.

That is not commercially published
Commercially means the creator gives his consent for the public to perform it in his routine.
The japanese book is apparently a book which exposes all the famous illusions and tricks performed by the top magicians over there.. what a hurt in magic

However, i got to know the cost of the "hamburger" illusion,
which is usd50000 , from Zenneth kok
*shakes head*

The famous hamburger illusion on the net? Probably the performance at online video website. Even if the secret of the hamburger is on the net, it might not be the same as Cyril Takayama performed.

I was reading an issue of the Street Magic Magazine (the one with a santa girl on its cover) and I came across an article that Cyril is doing his first explanatory dvd with blackmagicgroup.com.

However, the release date was not announced

I read on Lu Chen's blog last year that there was indeed a Japanese book published last year that tipped the gaff on Cyril's burger trick. According to him, it is the real thing, but you'd be ultra disappointed after reading it. Anyways, you can save yourself the trouble of looking for it... unless you can read Japanese. :)

I was told that it was a group of local magicians that helped to published this (actually an article in a magazine)

I've read it and I don't think they are authentic because some of the explanations are really ridiculous. (e.g. The effect in the Lacoste store, the self cooking instant noodle and the burger trick)

Not sure does the explanation really ridiculous or just because we cannot accept as it is too......simple? Unless someone really tested those methods.

Saw a burger explanation video which is more detailed than the book (by anonymous magician), it may sound ridiculous but it does make sense after watch the performance. (method may not be authentic, but there are many ways to produce the same effect right?)

Didn't see any brand name or restaurant name on Cyril's burger menu.

Perhaps someday, someone will performance it here.... says like taking out an Old Chang Kee curry puff from the wall?
