Oooo so this thing is called Powerizer ?! I've saw one some time ago at East Coast Park, I think they were doing some kind of promotion.
Don't know where they are now, it's been month since I first saw it.
I saw they were doing promotion near the area for practicing blade (the one that many young people put a cone and do a slalom)
So I think local should have this thing, but don't know where now :P Since at that time I was still crazy with Rollerblade :P
Never saw it again after that
Hm.. maybe you want to try this too ?

My mum thinks my unicycle is an accident waiting to happen too.. :P
Seriously, my thoughts are that all different things have got a certain amout of risk to it. Its a matter of knowing and reducing it. Even if i do get it (which is not highly likely as of yet), I won't be jumping down the stairs nor over cars anytime soon. :P
@qureyoon:
Its really available in SG?! Though i know there is someone with the powerizer, i thought all along that its from overseas!!

I've seen it once in east coast. I didn't what was it at that time as that guy wearing it was just walking. This is cool. But at a price of US$299, not that cool :(
Row Bikes are cool too.

USD299!!!! Okay, granted - not thaaaaaaat cool. I'd use that amount to buy other magic related items anytime. :P

UniCycle is different,
At least Unicycle you can brake almost instantly.
For this one, if you moving at high speed, its either you die or your leg break. Very simple. you body can only take that amount of speed force from the leg, if your leg is the mechanism needed to do the braking, your leg will break eventually.
That goes to Rollerblading also ma, those high power blader, will have a risk that their legs will susidie the damage on their ankles..

True, that's why those Speed Skater must wear knee and elbow, and helmet protector gear.
That's were the damage will be divided, so at the worst, you brake using your knee and elbow.
Besides i think the fastest those blade can go is maybe around 70 to 80km/h? , and to a trained body, i think they will survive bone/muscle break -_-
A beginner simply just can't run that fast, so only those who are at least advance level can run that fast, and they surely trained well, especially with falling

Huh?
What made you think that you could brake instantly with Unicycles, Larry??? LOL. Unicycles have no braking mechanism (unless you count jumping off as a braking mechanism) and it can go up to high speed. And I assure you: Nope, you cannot brake instantly with unicycles, you can only dismount from the uni. My unicycle tends to travel further than me in fact (i travel 4m, unicycle goes 6m...)
In any case, as with all, i wear protective gear when unicycling (regardless of speed) - gloves, elbow guard, shin guard and the likes. In any sport, any, one must understand and get to know the risk and danger factors first. :)
In any case, powerizer.... looks fun, but still doesn't hold as much attraction than magic still. hahahah!!!
