Coin is probably my most often performed item after IT, but i dun think i'm anywhere near being good at it.
Coins is fantastic because there is ALWAYS a coin around, no matter who, what, where, when. But my tricks are limited to the general vanishes and productions. i really need to expand that. Would love to trade pointers with you on that.

What tricks do you usually do with coins?
My fav has gotta be the coin that falls upwards. Thanks to Jamkid who showed me that the muscle pass IS possible which made me blistered my palm to get it.

It is really. It's one of the most difficult slieghts for coins and yet the least applications. Although many people tries to come up with different applications for it, it is mainly a one trick sleight. Really not worth it.

If Jamkid didn't manage to do it and impressed me with it, i would never have tried to make it. Literally blistered my palm to get it

Sometimes I wonder is it really woth it to master muscle pass. It took quite a while to get it, and you'll definetly see blisters and blood.

My favourite for coins would be coins across. But sometimes, sweaty palms can hinder sleights. Spellbound is another one of my favourites.

Yeah, now i think muscle pass is not worth mastering other than for bragging rights.
Just IT the coin and make it fly up in slow motion would be even more amazing and much easier.

My palms get a little sweaty as well and it can really really make it tough for classic palm.

what the... this muscle pass thing sounds quite frightening... one day one of u ppl must show me...

Morphine... I got sweaty palms too... can't hold a coin in classic palm for too long... esp when im nervous! on top of that i've got big hands so sometimes it's quite obvious i've got sthg palmed.

I'm pretty much of a coin guy, cos basically i dont have time to practice other stuff as well.. and i always carry around 3 or 4 Singapore 50 cent pieces in my pocket...
looking to expand my material.. only got stuff from bobo's and curtis kam nowadays.

Muscle pass, from what i heard it make your classic palm look even more natural and palming of the coin much more easier.

No muscle pass is to make a coin jump up to the other hand .. :)

Folks,

I am crazy about coin magic, however i am a novice at it. I have been doing simple coin/money magic for about 4 years and yes, i have never mastered muscle pass =[

I usually focus on sleight of hands like simple vanishes and coin hold outs. Eg., coin transpo (Mr Clean Coins Across, Flying Eagles), Spell Bound, coin vanish and coin thru table.

However, i am getting sick of the same old effect but different handling of coin routnines. Lately, i am really intrigued by this video i bummed across on the net. The effect is like sleeveless Raven, but he mentioned he is not using Raven.

Fantastic stuff. Really inspired me to go dig out my coin videos and re-invent the Raven. Anyone feels the same as me?

Btw, Kam Curtis is good stuff. not easy to master. Good on ya kryptikalism!
