Title: Lu Chen Gas Transfer

joeltay81 - April 8, 2008 03:44 PM (GMT)

Lu Chen transferring gas from one can to another.

I really like his story about transferring his fart to someone else when he was in a lift once. :D Going to use this line the next time I perform. http://youtube.com/watch?v=cM5GB0ExSpQ

Not sure of the name, but it's in Paul Harris's Art of Astonishment.

Thanks alot ZiAn.
Anyway, it is called the Fizz master. Any review for those who learn this already?
Thanks.

Review of the DVD?

I didn't really like the quality of the DVD. Presentation wise, Lu Chen does it much better then Paul Harris in the DVD. This particular trick however is very easy to do. No props needed other then two cans which you can buy at any shop or vending machine. It's impromptu and extremely easy to do. Doesn't get easier then this. (One reason why I love performing this when performing for friends unprepared.)

btw, i am selling the AoA dvd. Please feel free to check it out in the marketplace section.

Yup, this trick is SOOOOO easy to do. No sleight of hand, no switch or ditch. Freely chosen cans, genuine shaking, and gets good reaction.

But if you do want to do this trick, please please please do practice the bits. You'll probably have to go through a few cans before you get it right. But if you think it is so easy that you can perform it immediately, it's not.

However, Paul Harris' AoA has a couple of not very useful tricks. This one is the only one i liked. Is it 'well worth the price of the entire DVD', i am not sure.

I see. I dont know whether is it wise to buy the DVD.
Did you guys own the DVD?? If not how are you all able to know the trick??
Any clues. haha=)

I don't think the DVD is worth it. I have the DVD. Quality isn't that good. You would also need to improve on the presentation taught in the DVD. Tricks wise, they are "so so". I like this can trick though. I have the DVD.

ChanZiAn - April 9, 2008 04:23 PM (GMT)
I have the DVD. cl3BerbOi, how do you intend to learn the trick without owning the DVD?

Okok. Looks like i am getting myself one soon. Thank you for the advice on the DVD but the last trick is too tempting for me.

I bought this dvd for the nightshades ^_^

joeltay81 - April 10, 2008 03:33 AM (GMT)
Oh Yea. The night shade one.

cl3BerbOi, this is the one that cyril performed where he drew some sunglasses and then lifted them off.

Yujie, have you performed this one before?

yujie - April 10, 2008 05:00 AM (GMT)
Yea, once. However, I performed the ultra-visual nightshades. There's nothing wrong with the original version, but for singapore bills..erm, you know, the 'head' is too big. Therefore, I did some modification for UV nightshades, to make things easier to perform. If you have the prohibition DVD (cap through bottle), you will know what I meant.

As for Cyril's version, I have been cracking my head, pondering how he managed it. The spectator is allowed to feel the nightshades before he lifted the nightshades off. Unless there are some edit cuts in the video, I think that had to be the ultimate version. In other videos, he put the nightshades back into the authentication watermark. Wow.

Ok. The gas transfer was indeed easy. Maybe i can perform immediately after i see the DVD. But what is the technique of opening the fizzy can drink? At one go? or slowly.?

Get the DVD.

I've got the DVD already. As in when i open the 2nd can, must i open i at one go(means i pull the tab straight away) or slowly(slowly pull the tab).
Ok, ZiAn, i have tried. It isn't as easy as i think. Sorry.

It's explained by Paul Harris. Watch again. Still don't find it ? Watch again.

No need to ask more technical details since you got the DVD already.
