hi guys. i just started out working on IT. Didn't really tried it yet thou. IT works with a patty/plasticine. And it has to be skin coloured? May I know where to get the skin colour patty/plasticine?

Use magician's wax. You don't have to use skin tone putty, blue color can also work.

LOL... The last time i use plaster, and everyone was asking "Are you alright ?"

GordonLi - January 9, 2005 11:29 AM (GMT)
there are less conspicuous hookups or attachment points, so blue tack will work as well. but, just use magician's wax.

Anyway, depending on the type of hook-up you use, blue putty can be used. Wax is commonly used in I.T work. Check with ReDeFiNe, he has good quality wax.

hmm. where to get putty then?

I believe Morph doesn't use any adhesives at all...

Check out the available IT Videos...loads of info there. If you really want to save the hassle of hook ups and wax and stuff, why not get a reel? Check with Magicdow on this. He has some nice reels.

For the wax, Redefine has excellent wax, still using the "lifetime supply" of wax I got from him 2 yrs back! With lots more to go....

You can order Jon Leclair's Who's afraid of invisible thread - it comes with IT and flesh coloured putty

magician's wax is highly recommended! you dont have to worry what skin tone u have, even if ur skin tone is red or yellow or brown!

Yup, for just $6 for a big block of magician wax (more than 1oz), it'd last u a lifetime... :P
