I'm asking this for my friend.

Any DVD with no (or minimal) cards and coins tricks? Preferably sleight of hands kind with no heavy set-up or gummicks and is suitable for beginners.

99% of my collection is either cards or coins so I don't know any others.

I don't own these DVDs but perhaps you can look at the following 2 DVDs from the World's Greatest Magic series:

World's Greatest Magic - Magic With Everday Objects

I think they should fit your criteria.
