Title: New Magic Tv Show Filming On 31 May & 1 Jun 08
Description: Ilusi 2.0

jcsum - May 29, 2008 04:10 PM (GMT)
Hey guys,

If you didn't know, the filming of Singapore’s latest magic TV show began this week with stars Singapore's own ‘Iron’ Will & Bow Vernon (from Indonesia). I'm working on the program as an illusion consultant to develop new illusions. The show is the second season of the Malay-language show that will air on Suria at the beginning of July.

The team filmed in multiple locations including the Singapore Science Centre & the Singapore Flyer.

If you are interested to be part of the taping (I'm sure the guys will appreciate 'educated' magic TV audiences) or just watch how a magic TV show is produced, feel free to come down this Saturday (31 May) + Sunday (1 Jun) to the following locations:

Saturday (Vivocity)
PageOne 10am
Giant Hypemarket 1 pm
Pavilion (Outside, next to Baker’s Inn) 3.30pm

Sunday (Causeway Point) - from 2pm

We have created an awesome version of Will's Claustraphobia Box. This will be performed at the Pavilion @ Vivocity.

*All times are estimates.

Thanks.

Hi J C,

Thanks for everything during filming of ILUSI 2.0! It was awesome!

Hey everyone,
The 1st episode aired today at 8.30pm on Suria, and I wrapped up the episode with the Claustrophobia Box with an added twist (slither, rather) that J C came up with. Thanks man, I totally needed the "company" in the box.

If you managed to catch it, we'd really appreciate any feedback and comments.

If you didn't, catch Bow Vernon and myself every Monday at 8.30pm, only on Suria. No worries, there are subtitles baby!

Rock on,
Iron Will

The indonesian magician was pretty good! Nice trick at the bookshop! But I am not a fan of escapes, so I won't comment on that. Everyone should watch it.

Yes, everyone should watch it as it is yet another effort of local magic being brought to mainstream media.

Both Will & Bow and the production team took great effort to produce this show.

The card effect at the bookshop was created by Shaun Ashley See, who was collaborating with me on the consultation of Ilusi 2.0.

There are many firsts in this series. For e.g. the first ever magic/ escapes acts filmed at the Singapore Flyer.

Don't miss it!

Hey JC, pardon my stupidity, may I know who is Shaun Ashley See? That name quite unfamiliar to me.

Anyway, I am looking forward to all the other episodes!

yup. It was rather nice to watch and the card to book was the nicest in the episode. Very nice.. :D
