what is roughing spray and what is it used for?

Its used to spray on cards to make it rough. You can make quite a few effects with this but we can't reveal it in a public forum.

so.. does it mean that it is used for cards to stick together, or make them hard to seperate..??

You can buy a small bottle of it off any magic shop. However, if you want a larger amount (and save some money in the process), you can consider buying MAT SPRAY from any art shop. Bras Basah complex sells it too. $15 for a huge can, almost lifetime supply. Beats paying exorbitant prices for that tiny bottle with a magic label.

by the way,mat spray is used to spray on your mat to trap dirt and dust on your shoes

I read somewhere that ppl use 3M "photo fixative" or "photo mount" but have been looking ard for the past erm perhaps yr or so but can't find it...

Spray mount for posters don't work by the way... stick to tested and proven stuff like this MAT SPRAY and the original ROUGHING FLUID you can get from Sol... don't wanna risk killing your cards ;)

Anyways, the best thing to use is Testor's Dull Cote, which I personally favor very very much. I believe Magic Castle carries that brand, and if it works for an idiot like me, it should work for all of you! :D

Hey guys, Testor's Dull Cote is the way to go. The 3M Matte Spray is a form of glue, totally different from Roughing Spray though it can be applied for different types of effects.
