The moderators of SMC had the opportunity to play host to a visiting magician, Rob, all the way from Manchester, United Kingdom. (Please DO NOT ask if he is a Manchester Fan! He honestly prefers LIVERPOOL!)

Anyway, he was on his way into town, and he learnt about Bob Chua’s Lecture. Decided to drop an email to Uncle Bob and I guess the rest is history. I met him over coffee together with SHADE and Enrico, but was only out for awhile, before he had to rush off for dinner. Surprisingly, we managed to catch him later that night with Uncle Bob, and Shade. We jammed till late 1.30 in the morning – under a HDB void deck! Gosh – we must be nuts!

Guys that were at Uncle’s Bob lecture probably noticed this Caucasian guy. Though he’s big and huge, he really is a very nice guy. The people that had the chance to speak with him probably would agree with me.

He was here on holiday for 2 weeks, but we managed to catch him only a few more times. Magic was not always the topic whenever we were together. Surprisingly, it was the booze! This guy drinks like a fish! I totally think SHADE will strongly agree with me on this. I have never seen Shade so drunk before! Ha! Well done, Rob! I will leave out the details of that unforgettable night as this is still a public forum. Memories from that night will be never be forgotten, including the infamous “21” game!

Well, I sincerely hope that you enjoyed your stay as well as the magic in Singapore. It was definitely our pleasure and hope that you had a great/drunk time with the peeps from Singapore Magic Circle. We wish you the best and we hope you will get back here soon.
