Title: Invisio Torch
Description: Should i get it?

[Ling] - January 10, 2005 08:15 AM (GMT)
I'm thinking of whether to get Invisio Torch recently, is it advisable for causal performances and which kind to get for the average quality?

Thanks! :)

It's good but you do have to becareful for close-up situation.

It's an okay gimmick which in my opinion, is NOT durable at all. Leave the fire on for too long and the gimmick will melt. It's not easy to strike and it generally just comes across as tacky. Yes, things are possible with it, but if you can't do Invisitorch one handed, you might as well modify a normal lighter and use your other hand to cover it. The flame of a modified lighter and an invisotorch looks the same. Stick with flash paper. ;) :)

personally I use it for my stage show in the past. Well it does work better if you're weraing a coat or jacket. It wasn't meant to be use for a long time after all. As what I said earlier, if you're working in a close-up situation you might want to use something else as a subsitute.

Hey thanks for all that feedback! :) Ha. Saving my money for other stuff now, maybe for Huron's effects. :P

Thanks again.
