What colour do you think of when of when you you hear the word magic or mggician?

I think of Black , White and Red.

Somehow I always have an image of a guy in a top hat and suit of Black and white holding a red hanky.

For me, the only thing that grab my attention is the eyes and hands.

like decker, i think of black, white and red too. maybe blue...

if i think of a kids magician, then i'll think of many multi-colored silks.

I think of wonderful colors, maybe rainbow colors all at once ?

i think of blue no idea ....

it paints an interesting picture of the sterotype mage in us, and what we gre up with.

Would it be good to fan the fires of such thinking or should be move off to more "colourful" images of a mage.

Let me give you the short answer to your question.

It is a question on how do you view magic and what draws you to it.

In our youth, we are not merely drawn to things because we are curious, we are looking at the array of colours or the contrast, which draws our eyes.

To say Black, is to feel that magic is a mystical thing, with many secrets. Black is assoicated with darkness and mystery.

The other colours mean other things, but I shall not get into them, partly due to lenght and I am not sure on all the meanings.

Black. It is often associated as the MAGICIANS COLOUR. black deck, black tiger, black magic, black coat, black night, everything black.

Of course, I do believe there are other colours which link to magic.

When I think of magicians I think of black and white. Thats cos magicians have audiences of different races. Ok thats just dumb. Forget I said anything.
