Title: Art Of Stealing Cooking Pots!
Justy - January 18, 2005 03:27 PM (GMT)
hello guys! my maid who has been working for my family for 5 years just left on sunday! she had 2 extremely big and heavy luggage and 2 handcarry bags.when at the airport, she was asked by garuda airlines to repack her items because the it was too heavy and had to pay extra charges. however, for SOME reason, she refused to.
My mum, being a nice lady, decided to help her to pay for whatever taxes. and she happily flew back home.=)
on the 18 january 05. my mum realised that her expensive cooking pot had mysteriously VANISHED!(is that magic or what!) haha..anyway.. i just spent some time looking for it.. its really big and bulky so finding it was not a problem if it was at home.
However, it was nowhere at sight!(oh no!) my mum just recalled that she wouldn't let the security check her bag becoz of this reason. And that pot is $600 bucks. heartache! my old maid can go start making DVDs of Art of stealing cooking Pots Vol.1 2 and 3... haha...

this situation sounds strangely familiar.. wait a sec. it happened to me before.. cept that the item involved was this silver plated dragon statue. and it was about.. 1400 ren min bi? dunno, but it was super heavy, around 10+kg and quite big too, about the size of those commercial video-cameras. i can only imagine her trying to fit it into her luggages..
but my maid wasnt really that indignant on paying extra charges. and my parents didnt really pursue the matter further. maybe maids have particularly good sleight of hand coz of all the work they do around the house.. ^_^

Sad ... Cause some owners treat their maid very good but in the end, the maid do something like this. If they need cash, i think the owner itself will understand her situation and secretly give her some "Pocket money".
But overall i think there will always be a very good 1, still remember when i was young. Having this maid to cook a very nice dish, some sort of crispy Wanton Noodles. *Drools* :)~
