It's not impossible, but it's very diff to find sponsor for this type of things. Unless you are talking about you having the cash $$$ :)

Hmm... maybe you can check some books, they have the publishing name or whatever on the book itself.

Hi Ren Hui...

To my knowledge, there are 2 methods:

1. Go to a local publisher
This is easy, hassle free... heck, they do the printing & marketing for you too. You'll see your books in the shelves without you having to do much. The catch of course, is that you get a measly % of the profits when the $$$ comes in... how pathetic is pathetic? A local best-seller can fet its writer less than $5K in profts because the publisher gets most of the cuts.

2. Do it yourselves!
If you & your friends can, pool some $$$ together and approach a printer (note: different from publisher - you have to do your own type setting, editing, graphic designing, and the works) and print copies of your book. Next step is to do your own publicity & marketing at various bookshops in allowing you to have a shelf space. This is a lot of work to do but in terms of $$$, you get so much more.

Seriously now, you can approach NAC for grants to subsidise the costs... of course, they'll need to review the contents (this will take quite some time) before you get any form of support from them.

Still, I'd say go ahead and try it out... check out NAC's website for more information too and if in doubt, just give them a call.

Good luck on your project Renhui! :)

and er.. it's a class book sort of thing.
some people might know, i (and my class) has an obession with quotes.
there is currently a website which has all the quotes on it.
and i think for those who have seen it, it is indeed quite amusing.
