Aight.

I don’t even know if I can post it here but who cares, so here we go. Besides this being my first post as a logged in user in the smc (yes kev), its also my second pen spinning clip so don’t try to heckle too much o.o. I kinda noticed that some of you might be interested in pen spinning. So if y’all like this clip and all, I’ll prolly make some tutorials on the basic moves like the sonic. Oh btw, I don’t really care about any of the moves inside cept the double handed infinity and storm.

A great number of moves in this clip are done by TohLZ so great thanks to him. Also to Jolene for the NUMEROUS times of filming failure clips. Huge thanks to Alexander the great for editing the clip over 2 weeks. Lastly, to someone special for inspiring me. And to the people who will view this clip, thanks.

Without further ado, The Black Pen.

And to all card people, it isn’t at all that different.

whoa.

I have no idea how this falls into card flourishing, but I'll give it a try. ;)

the moves were perfectly executed. from my point of view, that is. considering the fact that most of the time the pen was spinning so fast I didn't know which fingers it was in between, or whether it was even touching your fingers at all. the combos were really smooth and well routined.. which moves are your own? anyhow, these look really cool.

there's something about pen spinning that simply tells everyone how dextrous you are. look at it this way - such a thin, somewhat long object being manipulated in ways only imaginable by the masses. plus, the finger coordination involved sometime precedes that of card flourishes, say even a simply pen fingerpass or even better, an infinity. I must say you do seem to have astoundingly flexible fingers.

as for the editing, I feel that the resolution could be improved upon a little. this is only to be able to appreciate better the amount of skill you have spinning pens. the music gave the video a very superhandz feel, not a bad thing at all. the transitions between moves wasn't too bad, but having a rhythm to it or some coordination with the music would make it more than simply a pen spinning video. the angles were pretty good too.

simply said, this video is Well Done indeed. keep up the great work! hopefully, you'll release a bigger, better, more kickass video soon ^_^

Hey yo, I have link it up on my computer, but i wont expose the link until the clip creator agree to it.

P.S I link it up because of my own use, faster viewing on different computer around the house.

/offtopic

So Hope that the creator will agree

OK PLEASE ABANDON THE OLD LINK IT SUCKS.

New link, sorry guys.

The Black Pen

Right click, save target as please.

uz_tham, firstly thanks for everything. i do agree that the music and the transitions were rather inappropriate. Will work on that, thanks anyways. the double handed infinity, infiniti, fingerpass routine and storm are mine.

=D Thanks for all the comments. Watch out for my next clip "Ressurected" tho, it's gonna contain both cards and pens. Inspired by the multi-climax "Reloaded" by Daryl. Sounds wrong, lol. Need some help about the backdrop, angles and editing from daryl anyways. Coming up prolly next month.

Hey uz_tham, thanks for the feed back.

Well, the quality of the video isnt that fantastic becos i had to 'clean' the video, or else it will look yellowish and not clear, hence i had to sacrifice some quality.

Anyway, i think this video, or more specifically, the pen spinning rocks! :D
